Founded in 1855, the Merano Tourist Board is, after Karlovy Vary (Czech Republic), the second oldest institution of its kind in Europe. Its close-knit and motivated team works in close cooperation with the administration and the information office. The staff of the Merano Tourist Board provides guests with advice and assistance and is an important point of contact for businesses in the tourism sector, such as hoteliers and restaurateurs. The Merano Tourist Authority is developing new events and initiatives to make the city even more attractive and is committed to expanding its existing offerings.
